Lazy Sunday

Spending this lazy Sunday in bed, on the laptop, watching "the Shield" with hubby. Gotta love lazy days... At least I do...
We went bowling with our friend Joe and his friend Kirby, who came down from Waldorf, MD to spend the weekend. It was fun, although I sucked at it. Didn't score more than 35... But at least I had fun. We should do it again, I am just not good at games though, any games. I remember being somewhat good at rummy...

Man Who Murdered My Stepson Still At Large...

So frustrating... Can't believe the man who murdered Matt is still around town, business as usual... Our justice system is just so slow... Trial won't be until January 2010... Still 6 months to go...
Here's the latest on the preliminary hearing held last week. At least he is going to trial. Sigh...

First Post - Rainy Sunday

I can't believe it's August already! Where did the summer go? At least we've taken the boat out at least twice this summer which is more than we can say about the last two years when we just couldn't afford the gas for the boat... Yup, glad we took it out this year... took the jetskis out a few times as well, most times it was close to sunset or there was a storm coming and we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we'd like to.
